2022-23
Trevor "The Boomer" Derringer is a senior and fourth-year member. He is the head of the build and design teams, and is the last member that participated in the Skystone season.
Emily Claire "Mama Duck" Lorenzen (she/they) is a sophomore and second-year member. She is the head of the programming and media teams, and their favorite hobby is cross-stitching.
Marshall "Marshall?" Meyer (he/him) is a senior and first-year member. He is on the build, design, and notebooking teams. Also, he can run a lap around the track in 67 seconds.
Aiden "Tunnels" Bridges (he/him) is a junior and first-year member. He is on the outreach and connections team, and he can run a 5K in less than 20 minutes.
Gabe "Smoken Salmon" SmolikHagen (he/him) is a freshman and first-year member. He is on the programming team and he can name every country in the world.
Clayton "The Silence" Kramer (he/him) is a freshman and first year member. He is on the programming team.
Building
Caden "Tooth" Lammers (he/him) is a freshman and first year member. He is on the build team, and his favorite quote is, "We can do this the easy way or the Walmart way." (Yes, it's from that one TikTok.)
Mason "Stick" Norem (he/him) is a freshman and first year member. He is on the build and design teams and is colorblind.
Coaches and Mentors
Megan Lorenzen is a first year coach. She is a business owner and volunteer with passions for organizing data and growing things.
Jim Hein is a fifth year robotics coach and a machinist at John Deere. He loves NASCAR, hunting, and coffee.
Jarett Butler (he/him) is a freshman at UNI and the former captain of Enginerds #9356. He is a building/design mentor and also knows 150 digits of pi.
Jeffery Rick (he/him) has a masters degree in electronic engineering technology. He has experience in robotic engineering and is a YouTube creator.
Kevin Johnson (he/him) is a Hardware Control Systems engineer. He has worked 33 years as an electronic product design engineer and 22 years with John Deere Power Systems.
